Meet David
David Krell is dedicated to researching the connections between history, nostalgia, and popular culture. Baseball is at the heart of his work.
His passion for baseball began in his Generation X childhood with John Rosenburg’s The Story of Baseball and playing on Springfield, New Jersey’s Little League teams. He is a regular speaker at Society for American Baseball Research conferences, the NINE Spring Training conference, and the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention. As volunteer chair of SABR’s Elysian Fields Chapter (Northern New Jersey), David leads discussions at chapter meetings to raise awareness of the sport’s incredibly rich history.

His articles have appeared in several publications including SABR’s The National Pastime and Baseball Research Journal in addition to Memories and Dreams (Baseball Hall of Fame magazine) and a series called “Krell’s Korner” in the New York State Bar Association’s Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Journal.
